Two members of the artist collective FASTWÜRMS, 1 of eight winners of this year’s Governor General’s Awards in Visible and Media Arts, remembered their roots expanding up in Ottawa as “art nerds” who hung out at the National Gallery of Canada.

At the Nationwide Gallery, artwork by this year’s winners is distributed all through the developing.
