Ocean Arts Pageant works by using artwork and science to celebrate the sea

MONTEREY — It is tough to capture the elegance and ability of the ocean working with terms on your own. That is why this weekend’s Monterey Ocean Arts Festival is enlisting both of those artists and experts to celebrate and study about the natural beauty and electric power of the sea.

SpectorDance hosts its second annual Monterey Ocean Arts Festival Saturday from 1-4 p.m. at the Monterey Museum of Art.
